Pataki Tamás - Murokffyban vérré válik az abszint and lóvá teszi az ördögöt

He is like Sindbad, Marci Kakuk, Baron Münchhausen or Obsitos Garay - only different. Tódor Ede Murokffy is a true picaresque hero, the adventurer-gem of monarchical Hungary. He is an ardent patriot, a restless thinker, and there is no bachelor, bride or beautiful woman who could feel safe from him - but none of them want to. Above all, he is a great storyteller who does not hesitate to exaggerate in order to exaggerate the truth. It's no wonder that such a glorious Hungarian dahlia has many enemies - and the Devil himself is among them all.
Tamás Pataki's novel has everything we love: adventure on the back of adventure, humor, emotion, good taste and eroticism. All of this is seasoned with hussar patriotism, based on vast educational material and composed with special linguistic feats. A fascinating read, an extravagant start as a writer.

"Kutyafaját, too, will be the Hungarian command language!"
