László Passuth's novel, Lament of the Rain God Mexico, deservedly became a popular read in many languages ​​of the world: a dramatic and colorful historical work about the journey of Hernando Cortés, the conqueror of Mexico, and the tragic clash between Spanish and Mexican Indian cultures. An adventurous and fascinating story full of love and struggle about an exotic world, human sacrifice, barbaric beliefs, mysterious cities and statues, as well as a huge amount of gold. Pál Korcsmáros drew the comic book version of the novel in 1963, which was published in weekly sequels for 17 weeks in Füles in a puzzle magazine. The drawings have now been collected, renovated with digital technology, and presented to the readers in one volume.
