The X2 is a highly mobile 4K professional camcorder with 4K 60p/50p 10bit image recording, HLG and 13-level V-Log (HDR), and HD live video streaming capabilities.

Various recording methods
It supports high bitrate (200Mbps - 59.94p/50p) video recording with HEVC (LongGOP/10bit 4:2:0/MOV) codec. Super slow-motion recording supports 10-bit recording (FHD – 120/100fps* and 4K UHD; VFR – 2-60fps**) for over/under cranking to help create creative videos.

4K precision autofocus
The face detector captures the images of the subjects present accurately, without sharpness problems and insufficient exposure. 5-axis HYBRID O.I.S.+

4:2:2 10-bit internal image recording
It records either LongGOP UHD 29.97p/25p (150 Mb/s) or FHD 59.94p/50p (100 Mb/s) footage to SD cards with a 4:2:2 10-bit color profile. It outputs 10-bit UHD 59.94p/50p images via HDMI.

HLG / 13-level V-Log format for HDR video production
The X2 enables HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) shooting mode, which is one of the standards for HDR. In addition, V-Log is supported, which is also available for Panasonic VARICAM cinema cameras and LUMIX mirrorless cameras, providing 13 levels of exposure. In combination with a V-Log compatible machine, polishing ensures a uniform image in post-production.

Full-HD live streaming
RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS-compatible HD transmission enables direct image connection and distribution, e.g. when broadcasting concerts, sports events and news on Facebook or YouTube.

Wireless control from a tablet or smartphone
The device has a built-in Wi-Fi module, so it is suitable for a Wi-Fi connection. The HC ROP tablet or phone application enables wireless adjustment and lens control.
