First for LUMIX products: Apple ProRes codec
CFexpress Type B card (MOV, 5.7K, 5728×3024, 29.97p/25.00p/24.00p) enables ProRes 422 HQ and ProRes 422 codec image recording, which meets the professional industry standard of high image quality and low compression . This can significantly reduce the load on the computer during post-production, and non-linear editing (NLE) is also possible without transcoding and the constant data flow of the workflow.

5.7K 10 bit 60p/50p image recording
5.7K (5728×3024) 4:2:0 10-bit 60p/50p (17:9) and 5.8K (5760×4320) 30p/25p/24p 4:2:0 10-bit anamorphic (4:3 ) mode, the LUMIX GH6 offers higher resolution and camera speed than ever before, as well as superior image quality, versatility and imaging range for the latest film, TV and various video productions.

7.5 stops of Dual I.S. 2 (image stabilizer)
The 5-axis double I.S. 2 (image stabilization) for Body I.S. and Lens O.I.S. provides a correction corresponding to 7.5 degrees.

HFR/VFR 10-bit image recording
High-definition slow-motion recording has recently become popular in video production, and C4K/4K 10-bit 120p/100p High Camera Rate (HFR) image and audio recording is now possible. LUMIX GH6 also offers a wide variety of 10-bit ALL-Intra image capture modes for quality editing, so it can capture FHD 240p/200p HFR and FHD 240fps video with variable camera speed (VFR). In the VFR system, up to 12.5× super-slow-motion video can be recorded (FHD 10-bit 24p/300 frames/s). ･The sensor outputs a maximum of 60fps when dynamic range enhancement is on.

New Venus Engine
The new Venus Engine provides almost double the processing speed of the previous one, enabling the new sensor to quickly process more pixels, higher resolution and higher video bitrate. Image quality has also improved significantly. New intelligent detail processing offers high resolution, while new 2D and powerful 3D noise reduction (for videos) optimizes image quality. Thus, natural 3D-like images can be produced with minimal image noise even at high sensitivity. The high-precision Dual 3D color controller improves color rendering (brightness, saturation and hue), resulting in more realistic and rich color reproduction.

New 25.2MP sensor
The LUMIX GH6 features the first Micro Four Thirds™ system standard 25.2 MP Live MOS sensor. Thanks to its threaded design from the low-pass filter, it captures images with more pixels and higher resolution, with extraordinary lifelike fidelity.
