Paleolit walnut press-cake flour is a base ingredient for bakers who want the full, traditional flavour of whole grains. It is made by grinding the defatted press cake left over from traditional cold-pressing of walnut kernel oil, bringing back the original taste of wholemeal breads and cakes.
Walnuts are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which support the function of brain and nerve cells, and they also contain vitamin E. The flour provides important minerals including zinc, copper, magnesium, potassium, manganese and calcium. Regular consumption may help in the prevention of diabetes and support normal cholesterol levels.
