NOUS E6 clever Tuya Zigbee temperature and humidity sensor

The Nous E6 combined temperature and humidity sensor is a small wireless smart home sensor equipped with an LCD display, supporting the Tuya Zigbee protocol, which communicates with the network via a Tuya Zigbee gateway. It is compatible with Tuya / SmartLife Zigbee gateways, communicating through this Tuya transmits data to the cloud and we can control other Wi-Fi or Zigbee Tuya-compatible devices based on its alarm, and can send an alarm to the Tuya / Nous app on our phone. It also displays the measured data in the given room on the small LCD display.

What is the Tuya / SmartLife smart home platform and app?

Tuya is a popular cloud smart home platform that offers integrated solutions for various smart home devices and applications. The platform enables quick and easy pairing, remote control and management of devices through a single APP interface. Tuya, also known as SmartLife, provides users with a comprehensive smart home ecosystem, including devices from many manufacturers.

It supports voice control, remote access and automated processes (reports). The Tuya platform also has cloud-side integration with a number of other smart home ecosystems, such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and SmartThings, so Tuya devices can also be used on these platforms. Tuya - similar to the similar global eWeLink platform - is also a cloud-based system, but the quality of the available Tuya devices shows a larger deviation.

In the Tuya range, the European Nous is a Tuya device manufacturer offering stable quality. Your devices can be used with Nous' own app or with the standard Tuya app.

The device can be used with Nous's own Nous APP and the Tuya app, in the latter case, according to experience, more functions are available.

Szentor is a sensor recommended for the Tuya smart home system, it basically works in cloudy mode. However, in the case of Tuya Zigbee gateways that work without an Internet connection and can cache and run the automations locally, the automations can also work without an Internet connection.

When connected to a Tuya Zigbee gateway, it also supports Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and (for iOS phones) Siri voice control.

Product features:

Tuya Zigbee chip connection: connects to Tuya Zigbee gateways via 2.4 GHz Tuya Zigbee protocol.
Zigbee technology provides a long range for data transmission, and mesh technology can increase it even further.
Voice control: Compatible with the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa systems, so it can also be controlled by voice control (for Tuya Zigbee gateways).
