One of the new products of the European brand Nous is the Nous B4Z two-circuit smart relay with consumption meter and Tuya Zigbee chip, which is used for the smart control of shutter motors, motorized blinds, motorized curtains and other two-way motors, even mounted behind the light switch assembly.

The Nous B4Z relay module has a Tuya Zigbee chip, for remote control it needs to be connected to a Tuya Zigbee gateway using the Tuya / SmartLife smartphone APP.

The Nous B4Z Tuya ZIgbee smart motor control module is a 2-circuit smart relay module with a built-in power meter function, supports 100-240V AC or 24-30V DC power supply, and can be connected to Nous's own Zigbee hub or other standard with the built-in Tuya Zigbee chip Also for Tuya Zigbee gateway.

Nous's own Nous APP is also suitable for phone control of the device, but it can be used with the Tuya app, in which case, according to experience, more functions are available.

Thanks to its small size, it also fits in normal-depth wall sockets, behind traditional light switches. It has the 1-1 input to control the motors up/down (or open/close), so the smart wall shutter switches can still be used as before.

Nous B4Z is a relay module for the Tuya smart home system, it basically works in cloud mode. However, in the case of Tuya Zigbee gateways that work without an Internet connection and can cache and run the automations locally, the automations can also work without an Internet connection.

When connected to a Tuya Zigbee gateway, it also supports Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and (for iOS phones) Siri voice control.
