One of the special products of the European brand Nous is the Nous A6T Wi-Fi, outdoor (IP44) smart socket, which max. It can switch 16A. IP44 waterproof device, suitable for use in bathrooms and other damp rooms and outdoors.

Its specialty is that Nous supplies the smart outlet with Tasmota firmware from the factory, so it is primarily recommended for users and integrators of open source smart home systems.

With its help, a traditional wall plug can be turned into a smart outlet socket with just a few movements, making it the perfect solution for controlling household appliances and lights plugged into the outlet.

With its use, you can comfortably turn on the desired devices from afar before you get home or you can conveniently time the switch on/off with it. Furthermore, we can monitor the power consumption of connected devices in order to save energy and costs, since the smart outlet also has a consumption meter.

The W-iFi smart socket can switch a current of up to 16A, so it can be used to control consumers with a higher power (maximum 3680W), such as an electric boiler, iron or electric heating.

Thanks to the factory-installed Tasmota firmware, it is compatible with most MQTT-capable home automation systems, so it can be easily integrated into our existing smart home.
