Programming time
The built-in intervalometer allows precise control of timed recordings. With the ability to set shutter delay, frame count, interval selection and exposure length, capturing seamless timelapse footage is easier than ever.

Long exposure times
It is used when shooting long exposure times (e.g. night shots), macro shots, and long focal length shots. The remote has a lock that allows you to use Bulb mode and Burst mode (if the camera has this feature) without having to hold down the button.
