CHOLINE BITARTRATE A WATER-SOLUBLE SALT OF CHOLINE
Choline is a naturally occurring component in the human body, it is present almost everywhere, and it is a component of many biologically significant cell membrane phospholipids (one of them is phosphatidylcholine).
Choline bitartrate is a water-soluble salt of choline. The versatile, stable, GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) certified choline bitartrate is essential for the structure of cell membranes and participates in several metabolic processes. Dietary choline intake affects the amount of choline in tissues and organs, it is essential because the body does not produce enough even under ideal conditions.
CHOLINE - LIVER AND DIGESTION
There are several foods that are considered particularly good sources of choline; such as beef liver and egg yolk. CHOLINE AND HOMOCYSTEINE PLASMA LEVELS
It has been shown that choline intake has a direct inverse effect on the plasma level of homocysteine, which is a metabolically produced amino acid to which many harmful cytotoxic and vascular effects are attributed.
Homocysteine is a controversial biomarker, byproduct, risk factor, or active agent in biochemical changes, although it is widely believed to be associated with a number of diseases such as, but not limited to, cognitive decline in old age, cardiovascular disease, and unsuccessful pregnancies: for example, low birth weight , pre-eclampsia, placental abruption and multiple miscarriages.
