Product description

When making the jam, our grandparents spent hours waiting for it to finally thicken and pour it into bottles. You can save time and energy if you do not only use pectin found in fruits to achieve the perfect jelly texture. With the help of Nature Cookta Special Pectin, you can make enticingly tasty gummy candies in different colors even at home.
Occurrence of pectin
Pectin was used to make jam centuries ago, first recorded by Henri Bracconot in 1825. Meatier fruits - such as apples or pears - also contain this valuable, natural gelling agent. It can also be found in rosehips, carrots and chervil, which belongs to the celery family. In order to achieve a more perfect taste and texture, even our predecessors already added jams with a higher pectin content to jams made from fruits with a low pectin content.
The amount and structure of the heteropolysaccharide found in the cell wall of terrestrial plants is determined by the type of plant, its age and the part in which it is found. (The stronger parts of the plant contain more pectin.) The more ripe the fruit, the lower its concentration, which is why the food industry, in addition to extracting it from citrus fruits, uses pectin obtained from sour apples most of the time. It is widely used in making jams and jams. It functions as a substitute for fats in baked goods. Due to its stabilizing effect, the cosmetics industry also discovered it for itself.
If we indulge in cigar smoking and want to restore damaged tobacco leaves, this natural substance can help us in this as well. Pectin uses the kitchen's water-binding capacity every day with the pectin used for gelling. A reliable, naturally-based stabilizer in the kitchen, which can be used to improve the quality and shelf life of jams, jellies, and jams. We can make fantastically delicious sweets using it.
We recommend Nature Cookta Special Pectin primarily for the production of gum. Mix with sweetener and water, then bring to a boil with lemon juice and coconut milk on a slow fire, stirring constantly. Cook for 5-6 minutes from the boiling point, then cool for a few minutes before pouring into molds. Let it stand until the jelly hardens. As a last step, we can cut it out of the molds. If bonbons and ice cube molds are used for the realization, then not only the internal value, but also the appearance of this delicacy will be special.
Using melted chocolate, you can also make additive-free parlor sugar from it. This special ingredient is also great for cake toppings, special desserts and ice creams.
The consumption of pectin does not replace a healthy lifestyle and a varied, balanced diet.
