Product description
Who is Tamás Náray really? A fashion designer recognized at home and abroad, a painter, a writer, a citizen of the world living in Spain or a local patriot in Debrecen? All this in one person? This question is answered by the author's latest and perhaps most personal and eloquent book, in which he collects the personality-shaping events of his life and the stories of his family legend. At the same time, the whirlwind writings also reveal a kind of chronology with the typical characters of the era of socialism and regime change, in which the fate of the author's wider and narrower family is reflected. The reader is holding a truly diverse book, but in each story appears the person who condenses the life experiences of several generations into wisdom, to whom Tamás Náray perhaps owes the most: his mother. Testimony about boyish love - not only for parents.
TAMÁS NÁRAY is a painter and fashion designer. He studied foreign trade and then economics. He worked as a foreign trader, as an industrial designer, as a clothing designer, but the arts were his real vocation all along. With the exception of a few years, painting accompanied him throughout his life. His first autobiographical book, The Last Morning in Paris, was published in 2016, followed by Once Upon a Time in 2021. The first volume of his highly successful trilogy, Zarah, was published in 2017, followed by Zarah's Legacy in 2018 and Zarah's Dream in 2019.
