Nagy Ágoston - Trianon után
Product description
On the occasion of the centenary of the signing of the Trianon Peace Treaty, an academic conference entitled Trianon and historiography and Social science, political thought and ideology in Hungary between the two world wars took place at the National Public Service University in the fall of 2020. The former conference looked for the answer to how the lost war, then the peace treaty and the subsequent loss of territory and population had an effect on the historiography and the related institutional system from the Paris peace conference until the Kádár era. The focus of the latter meeting was political thinking in a broad sense between the two world wars. In this volume, we present a selection of the versions of the presentations given at these two conferences that have been shaped into lessons. Our book is divided into three large chapters: the first essentially deals with historiography, partly from the ideological and historiographical side, partly from the institutional history side; the second discusses various aspects of political thought; finally, the focus of the third part is on the political-social aspects of writers' life journeys and representative works of the era.
