Nádasdy Ádám - What kind of nyelv a magyar?

Product description
"Why is Hungarian a Finno-Ugric language? Well, because linguists have established this. It's as simple as that. Mushrooms are not plants. Why not? Because biologists have established this. Mushrooms cannot absorb carbon from the air, as plants - so they're not plants. Anyway, I'd call them plants from the looks of it, since they grow out of the ground and can't run away, but it seems my criteria aren't valid."
This little book is intended for those interested in the Hungarian language. I tried to tell interesting things about this beautiful language (I say this as a private person; linguistics does not know the concept of "beautiful"), but my goal was not to give an exhaustive description. This is neither a textbook nor a handbook - but I hope that it will pique the interest of many, and that they will pick up one of the additional readings listed at the end of the book. Sometimes I will be quite professional, because I have to show how the linguist works and on what basis he makes his conclusions - what is the "root", what proves the Finno-Ugric origin, why there is no simplification, why the Death Speech is so difficult to understand, why it deviates from spelling from pronunciation, and so on.
What is written here (with the exception of a few things) was not invented by me, but was noticed, researched and written by my scientific predecessors and colleagues today.
