The VixCam starter kit has all the essentials to keep an eye on your home, toddler or other family members – and even talk to them thanks to the MioSMART app's two-way audio connection. The kit includes two VixCam C10 home cameras, two 16GB SD cards and an S10 personal cloud gateway, so you can save video to an SD card or even to your own personal cloud.

You can securely store your camera recordings and other files on the compact, discreet S10 personal cloud gateway that is part of the kit. The account can be used by up to four people with shared access. 4 TB of data can be stored on equipment compatible with USB 2.0 standard flash drives and all hard drives.

It can be used immediately
The VixCam Starter Kit is ready to use right away, requiring nothing more than the two included 16GB SD cards. VixCam recordings using H.264 compression require less storage space, so it doesn't run out when you need it the most. Recordings can be saved to the personal cloud gateway or the included SD card according to the user's needs.

How does the device work?
Setup is extremely easy: install the MioSMART app on your smartphone, scan the QR code, connect the camera to your home router via WiFi, and your security monitoring can begin. You will never have to worry about your home and loved ones again - as soon as something comes into the camera's field of view, the application installed on the phone will immediately give you a signal.

To use the gateway, connect the desired external USB storage and connect the gateway to your home router using an R45 Ethernet cable. After that, all that remains is to scan the QR code and you can start using the personal cloud gateway.

Viewing angle and night vision
The VixCam C10 camera with a wide, 85° viewing angle also has night vision capability: it can "see" up to eight meters even in poor lighting conditions, which can prove to be very useful during a vacation or an evening spent outside. Installing the device is extremely easy: if you attach the magnetic sheet to the point from which the camera can see the area you want to monitor, it is sufficient to place the device on the sheet.

Optimal cooperation with the included personal cloud gateway
The compact home camera works optimally with the included MioSMART personal cloud gateway*, so if you prefer the personal cloud over an SD card, you can use the gateway. An additional advantage of the device is that it can also work in a second location protected from possible intruders. The burglar may believe that if he takes the camera, the recording will be his, but if the gateway is, for example, in the neighboring house, then his calculations will not work. Thanks to the gateway, you can always count on a backup without having to spend on an expensive cloud service or subscription.

Files (e.g. videos, photos, music, office files and, of course, home camera recordings) can be instantly uploaded and downloaded from the device. You can play, view and share them anywhere, anytime.* The S10 Personal Cloud Gateway can only be paired with two VixCam cameras, so its use is limited to two cameras.

One control app for all MioSMART solutions
All MioSMART solutions are easily controlled using a single app, so you don't have to switch between multiple apps to use your personal cloud gateway and VixCam. And if you buy additional MioSMART solutions, the application can be extended to these as well.

In addition, it can be used by up to four people, so even if your phone is lost, you can continue to control it from the device of one of the other three users - shared access in this way provides a sense of security. With the help of the MioSMART application, groups can be created from various MioSMART products, and the products belonging to one group can be managed at the same time. For example, you can create a group called "Home" or "Office" and do a quick check within that instead of having to select each device from a list. This option makes the use even clearer, and it really comes in handy if several MioSMART solutions keep your home calm!
