Microsoft achieved great success on the market with the Intellimouse design created in 1996, which conquered until 2003, and then after a long hiatus, the manufacturer resurrected the iconic mouse again, although this time, modern hardware was hidden inside the housing that fits perfectly in the hand. Thanks to the new hardware, we get a precise, accurate and fast sensor, which is accompanied by buttons that provide a better clicking experience, and the iconic backlight has also played a role.

The reception of the Classic Intellimouse was generally positive, so the management thought it would be worthwhile to make a new, gaming copy that uses an even faster and higher resolution sensor. This is how the Pro Intellimouse was created, which can also be of good service when playing after work. The basis of the new mouse is a PixART PAW3389PRO-MS type sensor, behind which the PMW3389DM-T3QU type solution can be hidden.

The mentioned sensor can work with a maximum resolution of 16,000 DPI, it can track movements of 10,160 millimeters per second and acceleration of 50 G. The mouse using a USB 2.0 connection has a total of 5 mouse buttons, 3 of which can be programmed, but this option is not available under Windows 10 S, so you have to pay attention to this. The sensitivity of the sensor will be adjustable in 50 step increments, if the MS PowerUser information is accurate.

The 132 mm long, 69 mm wide and 43 mm high novelty weighs 140 grams. There are two color options available, the darker Dark Shadow and the lighter Light Shadow - both have some Xbox touches, and both have backlights, the color of which can be changed. In terms of design, the new mouse has remained faithful to its predecessor, i.e. its center of gravity, controllability and stability have been thoroughly designed to provide the best possible final user experience.

The mouse, which works with a maximum sampling frequency of 1000 Hz, is compatible with Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Home, and Windows 10 S, 8.1, 8 and 7 operating systems.
