Product description
Understanding the literary, canonical, and institutional historical implications of children’s literature is now inconceivable without taking into account the presence of classics or contemporary texts in the media space of children’s culture. When we talk about children’s literature or children’s books, we must always pay attention to the media environment, the complex contexts of mediation and mediation that have already surrounded children’s literature for centuries. We should consider the antecedents of the classic children's literature genres, oral storytelling, small forms of children's and school folklore, children's drawings, fair or family puppet theater, the world of games as a media event, as it is not just the press or 20-21. Since the advent of the mass media in the 19th century, children's literature has entered the common space of our media. The volume seeks to present the complex contexts of mediation in children’s literature through case studies. The genres of children's literature (animal fairy tales, children's lyric, etc.), film, comics, school as a medium, 19-20. Through the examples of children's literature in the 16th and 19th centuries, and the examples of children's literature that mediate political ideologies, the authors of the volume try to draw attention to the relationship between children's literature and mediality in many ways.
