    The polarizer/analyzer set allows observations with the polarization technique. It consists of a polarizer and an analyzer. The intensity of the permeable light changes depending on the relative location of the polarizer and the analyzer. If they are perpendicular to each other, there is a complete darkening effect. Anisotropic geological, biological and polymer samples are tested in polarized light.
