MAGUS SFR2 2.5х/0.07 Plan L Pol ∞/- objective

Product description
The MAGUS SFR2 polarizing lens was designed so that it can be used in polarized (transmitted and reflected) light. Strain-free lenses do not create birefringence and do not affect the result of observing the sample.
A low (2.5x) objective lens combined with an eyepiece in the 10x and 25x magnification range produces a useful magnification value of 35x and 70x for the microscope. When using a lower magnification eyepiece, it is not possible to study the sample under optimal conditions. Above 25x magnification, your eyepiece won't be more effective because the optical system won't show more detail. The resolution limit is 3.92 µm.
The SFR2 lens type has plane-achromatic optical elements. It creates a wide field of view by correcting the geometric distortion in more than 90% of the observed area: a focused image is created in the center and at the edges of the field of view. Observation is convenient with a digital camera and a wide-field eyepiece. The 10x/22 mm eyepiece provides an 8.8 mm diameter field of view. In such a field of view, the samples can be studied efficiently: you can quickly determine the desired area and, by changing the eyepiece, calculate the approximate grain size of the minerals. The sample can be examined with or without a cover plate.
The lens is designed for an infinity-corrected optical system. The parfocal height complies with the DIN standard.
