MAGUS SF100 OIL 100х/1.25 Plan Pol ∞/0.17 objective

Product description
Objective for studying transparent and translucent samples in polarized light. The lenses of the polarized optical elements are designed to avoid internal tension: they do not create double refraction and do not affect the results of the observation either.
The lens is designed for an infinity-corrected optical system. The parfocal height is DIN standard (45 mm). A 0.17 mm cover glass is used for the sample.
Planar-achromatic optical elements correct deviations: chromatic aberration in red and blue colors and spherical aberration in green. The geometric distortion is corrected in 90% of the observed area. The image is in focus both in the center and at the edges, so the lens can be used with digital cameras and wide-field eyepieces. Therefore, in a 10x/22 mm eyepiece system, the objective forms a field of view with a diameter of 0.22 mm. The resolution limit is 0.22 µm.
With the SF100 OIL objective, the microscope's useful magnification is between 625x and 1250x, which can be achieved with 5x and 15x eyepieces. With a lower magnification value, the system will not be able to show the finer details of a given object. No more information is available above the 1250x magnification value.
