Product description
Work can be done in polarized, transmitted light with the plane-achromatic objective. Polarizing objective lenses are designed to be stress-free, so they do not result in double refraction in the optical system.
Images created by lenses with plane-achromatic optical elements focus equally in the center and on the periphery. We achieved this by correcting the geometric distortion in more than 90% of the field of view. Therefore, they can be paired well with a digital camera or a wide-field eyepiece. Combined with a 10x/22 mm eyepiece, it provides a field of view of 0.22 mm. In addition, plane-achromatic lenses correct chromatic aberration in two colors (red and blue) and spherical aberration in one color (green).
The magnification value of the MAGUS SF100 DRY type is 100x, the resolution limit is 0.35 µm. This gives the microscope a useful magnification range of 400-800x. This requires an eyepiece in the 5x and 10x magnification range. At a lower magnification value, you will not be able to examine the sample effectively. A higher magnification will not provide new data. A 0.17 mm cover glass is used for the sample.
