The auxiliary lens of the SAL05 performs several functions at the same time: it increases the field of view and the working distance of stereomicroscopes. It also reduces the magnification of the optical system. This can be useful when you need to manipulate the pattern with external tools (such as soldering, engraving and other work). The lens is threaded to the lens cap. It has a magnification of 0.5x and is designed for stereoscopic microscopes.
