The MAGUS Metal V700 metallographic inverted microscope is suitable for examining the microstructure of metals, alloys and semiconductors in reflected light. A sample of up to 2 kg can be placed on the stage (only the bottom half of the sample must be flat). The rest of the sample does not need to be prepared, it can be of any shape. The microscope is designed for brightfield and polarized light observation, has a side camera connector and a trifocal tube, and is suitable for a wide range of laboratory and manufacturing applications.

Optical elements
The microscope is equipped with a specially designed three-eyepiece head - the position of the eyepieces can be adjusted; 180° rotation is possible. The digital camera is attached to the side camera connector on the microscope frame, and the monitor is attached to the three-eye tube of the three-eye lens head. Beam resolution on the frame – 100:0/0:100, on the three-lens head part 50:50 and 100:0.

The rotatable objective lens holder, suitable for 5 objectives, is located under the tested sample (each part of the basic configuration). All lenses are infinity plane achromatic with long working distances. Each lens can be replaced by another lens. In the basic configuration, the magnification of the microscope is basically between 50x and 1000x.

Illumination
The reflective lighting has an adjustable brightness 30 W halogen bulb. The lamp housing is powered by an alternating current power supply. Sufficiently bright for observations with bright field or polarized light microscopy techniques with all supplied objectives. It is possible to adjust Köhler lighting, and the light source can be centered along three axes. Color filters can be used to modify color reproduction in microscopic photography. There are polarization devices - an analyzer and a polarizer - each of which can be removed.

Stage and focusing mechanism
Round stage plate with 10 mm, 20 mm and 30 mm holes inserted into the stage, and the sample can be fixed with a sample holder. The stage is quite large (242x200 mm), and can be moved along two axes with the fixed sample. The sharpness of the image can be adjusted with the coarse and fine focus buttons. The coarse focus knob is adjustable in tension and has a locking knob.

Additional accessories allow you to get the most out of the MAGUS Metal V700 microscope. Eyepieces, long working distance plan achromatic objectives, calibration slides and digital cameras are available.
