Digital camera
MAGUS CLM30 is a digital camera designed for fluorescent and dark field microscope techniques. The camera has an 8.3 MP sensor and produces realistic images with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. The camera should be used with 4x, 10x, 20x and 40x lenses. When working with low magnification lenses, the camera helps you see the finer details.
Depending on the resolution, the video is recorded at 45 frames/second (fps) or 70 frames/second: the transitions between frames are smooth and imperceptible. The movement of the sample can be tracked in real time without delay. Moving objects can be easily observed using the camera, which is also suitable for classroom presentations.
The camera has a USB 3.0 interface. The data transfer rate is 10 times faster than USB 2.0 cameras. The high-speed camera is recommended for professional laboratories, research and university education.

Optical elements
The triple-lens head part has a triple-lens tube suitable for mounting a digital camera. The light/camera selector can be used to direct the light beam to the camera, allowing you to take clear and detailed photos and videos, which can then be displayed on an external screen. The camera is not included in the basic configuration. The left eyepiece has a diopter ring for image adjustment.

Plano-achromatic objectives marked with the BD symbol are specially designed for bright and dark field microscopy techniques. They objectively have a long working distance. Five are included with the product, which can be installed in each socket of the revolver head. Mounted lenses can be quickly swapped out for optional lenses as needed. Infinity-corrected optical elements with 50-800x magnification. The turret with the objectives is oriented towards the interior - the user can see the objective inserted into the optical path.

Illumination
The reflected light illumination system is designed to allow the most detailed observation possible with any objective and any microscopy technique. The light source is a 50 W halogen bulb, which provides bright, uniform and warm light. The Köhler lighting method allows you to adjust the lighting. The product also includes filters for color rendering, as well as a polarization tool (built-in analyzer and removable polarizer). The light source, the aperture and the diaphragms on the object side can be centered. The lighting system also includes a dark field device.

Stage and focusing mechanism
A special feature of the microscope is the large 280x270 mm stage, which can be moved along the X and Y axes in a range of 204 mm. Focusing can be controlled by turning the coarse and fine focus knobs. They work stably and smoothly, and thanks to the value of the fine focusing scale, the product works accurately even at high magnification. The coarse focus has a lock button and is adjustable in tension. The focusing buttons are located on the base of the microscope, so you can adopt a relaxed and comfortable posture. That way you can put your hand on the table, you don't have to hold it in the air.
