With the MAGUS Metal D630 LCD reflected light metallographic microscope, the microstructure of non-transparent objects of any height and size can be examined. It can also be used on metals, alloys, semiconductors and paint coatings. Available microscopy techniques: bright field, polarized light. Digital camera
The 2 MP sensor of the MAGUS CHD20 digital camera captures realistic Full HD images with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Due to its high light sensitivity, the camera is suitable for working with fluorescent lighting. The primary color mosaic filters R, G, B can be used to achieve a low dark current level and obtain a clear image.
The camera can be connected directly to a TV, monitor or projector via an HDMI connector. In this mode, the camera works independently without a computer. The HDMI connector provides a high and stable transfer rate when transferring from the camera to an external screen. Furthermore, the camera can be connected to a computer via the USB 2.0 port.
Video is recorded at 60 frames per second (fps) or 50 frames per second depending on the output connector.
Thanks to the camera's high FPS (FPS = frames per second) and high-bandwidth HDMI technology, videos are displayed vividly and there are no freezes or stutters between frames. At maximum resolution, the image is well detailed, moving objects are visible without error, and the movement of objects is displayed without delay.

Monitor
MAGUS MCD monitors combined with MAGUS CHD cameras provide a complete imaging system for MAGUS microscopes.
The camera is connected via the HDMI interface. The monitor displays a real-time image. Its IPS LCD display provides a wide viewing angle, high brightness and good contrast. The image is not distorted, even if we look at the screen from a wide angle. The screen size is 13.3''.
The monitor can be installed on a horizontal surface using a foldable stand, or can be attached directly to the camera or tripod.

Optical elements
The optics of the microscope are corrected to infinity. The triple-lens tube for mounting the camera is positioned vertically. The light beam can be directed to the eyepieces or the three-eyepiece tube. The camera is not included in the basic configuration. The binocular head part is tilted at 30°, so this microscope can be used comfortably for hours. Diopter correction is also available on the left eye lens to adjust the optical elements to the user's vision.

There are 5 sockets in the revolver head. The set includes 4 flat achromatic lenses. When they are installed, there is still room to install an optional lens. Long working distance objectives are designed for bright field microscopy.

Illumination
The microscope uses only reflected light. The illumination system includes a polarization device, an aperture diaphragm and an object-side diaphragm. Light source: 30 W halogen bulb. Its lighting is comfortable to use and does not strain the eyes. The diaphragm and light source can be centered, and a Köhler lighting configuration is also available. Color filters are also included with the product.

Stage and focusing mechanism
The uniquely designed stand and focusing mechanism offer two advantages: compact size and the ability to examine samples of any height. The microscope can easily be placed on any laboratory furniture with a free space of 40 cm. A two-axis stage can be used to study small samples. Focus can be adjusted by turning the coaxial coarse and fine adjustment knobs on both sides of the stand. The mechanisms are precise and work smoothly. Rough tension adjustment is also possible.

Accessories
The microscope can be expanded with optional accessories, including long working distance objectives, eyepieces, digital camera and calibration slides.
