MAGUS Metal D630 BD LCD metallographic digital microscope for brightfield, darkfield and polarization microscopy techniques. Strong halogen lighting provides quality images with any objective lens and any microscopy method. The microscope is designed for quality control and study of the microstructure of metals, semiconductors and non-transparent objects. With its help, research can be carried out in production facilities, research center laboratories, and university departments.

Digital camera
MAGUS CHD40 is a digital HDMI camera with three video interfaces and automatic switching function between 4K and Full HD depending on the monitor resolution.
The camera's 8-megapixel sensor, connected via HDMI or USB 3.0, captures realistic 4K resolution (3840x2160 px) images. When connected via Wi-Fi, Full HD (1920x1080 px) image quality is available. The camera can be connected directly to a TV, monitor or projector with an HDMI interface. In this mode, the camera works independently without a computer. The HDMI connector provides a high and stable transfer rate when transferring from the camera to an external screen. You can connect the camera to a computer via Wi-Fi or USB 3.0. Video is recorded at 30 frames per second (fps).
The camera combines high FPS and high bandwidth HDMI. Thus, the videos have bright colors, there are no freezes or gaps between the frames. At maximum resolution, the image is well detailed, moving objects are visible without error, and the movement of objects is displayed without delay.

Monitor
The MAGUS MCD40 monitor is intended for use with the visualization system of the MAGUS microscope. The monitor is connected to a camera mounted on the microscope to display real-time images. MAGUS supports 4K HDMI cameras. The diagonal of the screen is 13.3 inches. The IPS matrix provides bright images with large viewing angles. If you look at the display from an angle, the color reproduction is not distorted. You can place the display on a folding stand, table or shelf, or attach it directly to the camera or microscope stand.

Optical elements
The triple-lens head part has a triple-lens tube into which the digital camera (not part of the product) can be attached. The light beam can be directed to the eyepieces or the three-eyepiece tube with an eyepiece/camera routing button. The three-eye lens head is tilted at 30° for comfortable observations. The diopter adjustment ring is located on the left tube.

After you install the included lenses in the turret, there is still a space left to install an additional lens. All basic objectives are suitable for both plano-achromatic and long working distance - bright and dark field microscopy.

Illumination
In order to be able to perform observations in the dark field, the microscope is equipped with a high-performance (50 W) halogen bulb. Furthermore, the reflected light illumination system includes the following: filter set, aperture and objective side diaphragms, dark field device, built-in analyzer, and a removable polarizer. The apertures and the light source can be centered. The Köhler lighting mode can be set.

Stage and focusing mechanism
The microscope stand and focusing mechanism have an interesting design, and thanks to this they can be used for samples of any size and height. Another feature of the microscope is its small size, thanks to which it can be easily mounted on surfaces up to 40 cm high. Coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs are located on both sides of the microscope frame. Rough tension adjustment is also possible.

Additional accessories can be ordered separately for the MAGUS Metal 630 BD microscope. These include compatible eyepieces, long working distance objectives for bright and dark field observations, calibration slides, and digital cameras.
