    Iris diaphragm is used to control the amount of light passing through the optical system of the CMO stereomicroscope. The diaphragm opening also affects the depth and contrast of the image.

    Material science and industrial examination work must be accurately adjusted, as there is a direct impact on the information content of the image. This setting is also important for observations and capturing clean digital images.

    Iris diaphragm should be installed between the microscope head and the zoom lens.
