Product description

Florurescent technique can be used with EPI-Fouurescent accessory. The fluorescent technique uses that some materials emit light with a light wavelength. Some samples show their own fluorescence, while others should be treated with fluorochromes.

The accessory is mounted on a light path between the microscope head and the stand. The accessory contains a 6 -time rotary tire with fluorescent filters. Five fluorescent filter cubes are equipped with the rotor (selectable by the user) at a time. The desired filter can be brought into the way of light by turning the ring. One of the positions of the magazine corresponds to the clear vision observation. The side buttons are used to adjust the field and aperture compartment opening. The fluorescence filtration cubes includes fluorescence filters of different wavelengths: wide -band blue (в), green (g), ultraviolet (UV) and narrow band red (R), and narrow band filters for dapi, FITC and TRITC fluorochromes.

The fluorescent excitation source is a mercury vapor lamp. It is characterized by high light and wide wavelength spectrum. The spectra of the lamp is humped, which allows you to work with different fluorescent paints. The mercury vapor lamp is located in a lamp cure. The lampshade scatters the heat, so the lamp does not heat.

For fluorescent techniques, the Magus Epi-FL06 accessory is used with the Magus Planf S-APO fluorescent objective set. The Plan semicromatic fluorescent lens increases the resolution of the microscope and reduces color and spherical errors. The image in the eye lens and on the digital camera is cleaner, more contrast and stronger light than the usual plan with an acromatic lens. A large numeric aperture of fluorescent lenses increases the resolution of the microscope while reducing depth of field. Therefore, we recommend the use of normal lenses with greater depths for glossy observations from the microscope set.
