Florurescent technique can be used with EPI-Fouurescent accessory. The fluorescent technique uses that some materials emit light with a light wavelength. Some samples show their own fluorescence, while others should be treated with fluorochromes.

The accessory is mounted on a light path between the microscope head and the stand. The accessory contains a 4 -position rotary station with three wide -band fluorescence filter: blue (в), green (g) and ultraviolet (UV). In higher education, it is recommended to choose the LED-based fluorescent as it has low maintenance and is the safest.

For fluorescent techniques, the Magus Epi-FL04M LED is used with the Magus Planf S-APO fluorescent lens set. The Plan semicromatic fluorescent lens increases the resolution of the microscope and reduces color and spherical errors. The image in the eye lens and on the digital camera is cleaner, more contrast and stronger light than the usual plan with an acromatic lens. A large numeric aperture of fluorescent lenses increases the resolution of the microscope while reducing depth of field. Therefore, we recommend the use of normal lenses with greater depths for glossy observations from the microscope set.
