The numeric aperture of the dark vision condensor must be greater than the objective numeric aperture. For this reason, the condensor is 4x to 40x, 0.9 n.a. works with dry lenses.

The dark vision condensor is located in the maintenance instead of the Abbe condensor.

If you want to get a contrasting image of the sample using the dark field of view, we recommend using a 0.17 mm thick cover plate and 1-1.2 mm thick slide.
