Product description
This condenser is used for the dark field microscope technique. It is used for the examination of weak light-absorbing, unpainted, transparent samples that cannot be seen with the bright field technique. It only works with dry (non-immersion) lenses with an aperture of 0.9, and provides magnification between 4x-60x.
The MAGUS DF1 A 0.9 dark field condenser is placed on the microscope instead of the Abbe condenser for the bright field microscope technique. An image with optimal contrast is achieved by using a cover glass with a thickness of 0.17 mm and a glass slide with a thickness of 1–1.2 mm.
