MAGUS 50PLL 50х/0.70 Plan H SzM 3.68 mm objective

50x magnification objective for a metallographic microscope. The plane-achromatic optics provide a wide and clear field of view and correct the curvature of the field of view by 90%. The optical system combined with a 10x/22 mm eyepiece provides a field of view of 0.44 mm. The lens corrects chromatic aberration for red and blue, and spherical aberration for green.

The lens can also be used with uneven patterns. It has an increased (3.68 mm) working distance. This is necessary so that neither the objective lens nor the sample is damaged during observation. The lens is designed for an infinity-corrected optical system. The parfocality of the lens is 45 mm.

With this objective, the microscope's useful magnification is between 350x and 700x. In order to achieve the clearest image, the 50x/0.70 lens should be combined with eyepieces with a magnification between 7x and 15x.
