The resolution limit of the 10х/0.25 objective is 1.1 µm.
It corrects chromatic aberration for blue and red, spherical aberration for green light, and spatial curvature to 90% of the diameter of the field of view.

The lens is infinity corrected. The parfocal distance is 45 mm. When working with a 10/22 mm eyepiece, the diameter of the field of view will be 2.2 mm. Designed for working with samples without cover glass.

The 10x metallographic objective has a long (5 mm) working distance. The working distance is the distance between the front lens of the objective and the object being examined, at which the image of the object is in focus. The examined objects can have a characteristic topography – such as printed circuit boards containing different levels of electronic components and semiconductors. The long working distance prevents accidental damage to the front objective lens and specimen when focusing and rotating the turret to change objectives.

The lower limit of the microscope's useful magnification when working with a 10x objective is 125x. A lower magnification does not make it possible to distinguish the details of the object in the image created by the lens.
The upper limit of useful magnification when working with a 10x objective is 250x. Higher magnification is usually considered "useless" because it does not provide additional details in the image of the object.
For a 10х/0.25 objective, use eyepieces with magnification between 12.5x and 25x.

Plano-achromatic lenses produce an image that is equally focused in the center and at the edges - with minimal distortion. This feature is used for digital imaging and for working with 22mm wide-angle eyepieces.
