LUDONOVA Amritsar: Az Aranytemplom board game

Amritsar, the Golden Temple. This impressive building is known worldwide as a holy place for the Sikh community and one of the most famous pilgrimage sites on Earth.
It was demolished several times, but Maharaja Ranjit Singh rebuilt it with marble, copper and 750 kilos of pure gold, hence its name. In Amritsar, players will represent the various personalities of the era who helped the Maharajah of the Sikh Empire rebuild the Golden Temple.

Based on a clever mechanism based on the system of classic mankala games, players will use different workers and their own elephant to complete the necessary tasks. During our turn, we can perform 1-3 actions depending on how well we organized and coordinated the movements of the workers and our elephant.
These actions will consist of collecting resources in the quarry or the market, progressing to different skill levels, improving our personal board, moving our elephant and mainly offering donations to the temple, with the aim of gaining as many prestige points as possible.
At the end of the game, the player with the most prestige points wins.

The Golden Temple is a fun, magical board game for 1-4 people made with very nice quality components.
The key to the game is a very clever and ingenious mechanism with which we have to coordinate the timing of our workers, our elephant and our actions.
