Losoncz Márk - Rácz Krisztina - A vajdasági magyarok politikai eszmetörténete and önszerveződése (1989-1999)

The Hungarians of Vojvodina faced a new historical situation and extraordinary challenges in the 1990s: under the conditions of war, in the shadow of Slobodan Miloąević's system, they were given the opportunity to organize themselves politically and to prepare the framework for their autonomy. A research group, with the support of the Domus Foundation of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, undertook to map as thoroughly as possible the period from the establishment of the Democratic Community of Hungarians in Vojvodina to the establishment of the Provisional Hungarian National Council. The studies in this volume bring together perspectives from different disciplines and are complemented by in-depth interviews with prominent figures of the age and a comprehensive political chronology.
