Six degrees of freedom
In modern space shuttle simulator games that use more dynamic space vehicle physics, the control of the vehicle is more complex. It is also very different from traditional flight simulators. Six degrees of freedom - nod, tilt, fan, forward, backward, up, down, right, left - which are all necessary. The X56 features unique, purpose-built mini analog switches on the thumbs that offer four additional axes of control and also double as buttons.

Adjustable accuracy
The combination of non-contact Hall-effect sensors in the 16-bit aileron and elevator shafts and an adjustable spring preload system gives the X56 stick rudder unprecedented sensitivity and control. Four springs of different tension provide additional customization options. You can even eliminate the springs completely.

Two independent throttles
The new dual throttle is perfect for twin-engine spacecraft and aircraft, and even better in combat situations where the main engine has shut down and only one is working. You can adjust the movement friction of each throttle, and if your vehicle has a single transmission, the two throttles can easily be converted into one unit with the throttle lock.

More than 189 programmable controls
You can customize 13 axes, 5 hat switches and 31 programmable buttons, all in three modes You can adjust deadbands and response curves to fine-tune the axes. You can assign any button to any number of simulator commands, e.g. for afterburner, hyperdrive, target lock or firing with a group of weapons. The software allows you to assign mouse and keyboard commands to the X56 controller, from single button presses to timed and macro commands.
