Velop is the latest development of Linksys, which is a wireless modular router/device that can create a perfect Wi-Fi coverage, interruption-free and extremely fast network in your home with the help of the most modern technologies.

The so-called mesh network structure enables the network speed to provide maximum performance and coverage uniformly everywhere.

In mesh networks, large area coverage is achieved not by directional antennas and by increasing the transmitter power, but by installing several connected access points (Velop).

While in traditional networks the speed between network devices decreases in proportion to the distance and the network is interrupted/reconnected when switching between devices, in the case of the Velop network the coverage is 100% everywhere and the connection is uninterrupted.

One of the greatest virtues of Velop is its easy installation and modularity. With the Android or iOS application, additional Velop units can be easily added to the network without losing the speed of the existing network.

Velop uses tri-band technology with the 802.11ac standard and MU-MIMO system, while competitors on the market are typically based on dual-band. The allocation of the three bands (one 2.4 GHz and two 5 GHz) is dynamic, the system selects according to the radio environment which of them is used for communication between nodes and which of them is broadcast to users.
