An excellent additional device that protects RJ-45 ports from unauthorized access.

With the Lindy RJ-45 port blocking key, the user can quickly block open network ports and easily prevent users from connecting cables, devices or inserting foreign objects without permission.

This helps protect against unauthorized access to your network or system, and prevents unintentional or malicious damage to ports. It can also act as a visual indicator, showing inactive or disconnected ports, ideal for school, office or other public sector use.

The semi-permanent RJ-45 port blocker consists of a molded plastic end cap that securely attaches to the RJ-45 port with a special insertion key. The blocker snaps into the RJ-45 just like a network cable and stays in place until removed with a socket wrench.

To use, simply attach a blocker to the key and insert it into the port. Hold the blocker in place and pull out the key. To remove, simply place the key back into the blocker until it _clicks_, then pull away.

Security Note: Port blockers are only a basic physical and visual deterrent against tampering. It does not prevent a determined attacker from gaining physical access to an RJ-45 port.
