Lia Louis - Nyolc boldog hour

Do you believe in fate?

Noelle Butterby, in her thirties, is on her way home from her high school reunion on a snowy March evening when disaster strikes. He finds himself alone in a huge traffic jam on a highway closed due to a blizzard, without food, drink or a working phone charger.

The situation seems hopeless until Sam Attwood, a handsome American who is also loitering in his car, knocks on his door to offer his help. The following eight perfect hours end in the morning and the successful work of the snow shovels. Noelle and Sam part with the knowledge that they will never see each other again, but fate seems to have other plans.

As they bump into each other again and again, they start to become more and more certain that there are no coincidences.

The bold, unique voice of award-winning author Lia Louis and the delightful, twist-filled story of Eight Happy Hours will make you believe in the power of fate.
