Product description
The MarkNet N8372 provides 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac wireless connectivity to Lexmark devices, allowing users to access them over their local network or Wi-Fi Direct for mobile users. The Lexmark N8370/N8372 supports both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless bands.
Continuous and secure control: With an embedded web page, administrators can quickly update device firmware and access device settings via a web browser, easily monitoring device status and changing default settings.
Installation and control
Easy installation: Simply slide the wireless card into the internal port. For other models, the included expansion card can be used, or a wireless module can be connected to the Lexmark device's USB port.
Management Security: Built-in SNMPv3 supports encrypted and authenticated management, remote configuration protection, and device status messages.
Network protection layer: The IPSec support of the device can be used on both IPv4 and IPv6 TCP/IP networks, and communication encryption and authentication is already provided in the network layer.
Enhanced security
Support for wireless encryption: WEP encryption (using 64 and 128-bit keys), Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA2™) personal security protocol, and Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA2™) enterprise security protocol eliminate unauthorized manipulation and use of a wireless network. You can control access to the printer via a standard Wi-Fi network.
Support for direct printing: With Wi-Fi Direct support, smartphone and tablet users (Android, iOS systems) can print wirelessly without wasting time or effort to establish a network connection.*
One print server - two functions
Connecting network users: A wireless print server that provides Lexmark devices with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac connectivity can be configured as part of the network infrastructure.
