The Levenhuk Rainbow 50L Moonstone microscope can be a great gift for those interested in biology and science. With this microscope, you can get to know the structure of plant, animal and human tissues, you can get a glimpse into the life of microscopic organisms that usually remain hidden from us, living in their own microuniverses, and of course you can perform many exciting experiments. High magnification

The microscope comes with three objective lenses providing 40x, 100x and 400x magnification. The magnification can be adjusted extremely easily - just turn the turret head. The included Barlow lens doubles the magnification available with the lens, giving you up to 800x magnification without additional accessories.
All optical elements are made of high-quality, highly transparent glass. In order to increase light transmission, the lenses are covered with a multi-layer coating. This type of design makes it possible to create extremely detailed, sharp and clear images.

Double lighting

Each microscope in the Levenhuk Rainbow 50L series has two types of LED lighting. Bottom lighting allows for observations in transmitted light; e.g.: you can observe microorganisms in a drop of aquarium water or study the cell structure of an onion skin. Top lighting allows you to work with non-transparent objects - among many other interesting things, you can see the internal structure of various papers and fabrics. To observe semi-transparent samples, both lights must be switched on. With the easy-to-use brightness adjustment mechanism, you can easily set the most suitable lighting for each sample.

User-friendly design

The plastic body of the microscope is durable and light. In order to make your observations as comfortable as possible, the head can be tilted 45° and rotated 360° around its axis. This is really convenient when working in a group - you don't have to move the instrument, you just have to turn the head part in the desired direction. The microscope can be operated from an electrical network or with batteries.

Caution: Please refer to the technical description for the correct voltage and never attempt to connect a 110V device to a 220V outlet (and vice versa) without using a converter. Note that the mains voltage in the US and Canada is 110V, while in most European countries it is 220-240V.
