The Levenhuk MED X/Y calibration slide is an accessory required for calibrating the image analysis program. Defines the correction factor with which the program can quickly convert values ​​into different units. The calibration slide can be used with any brand of microscope.

The Levenhuk MED X/Y calibration slide is a transparent piece of glass. At its center is a micrometer scale. The smallest pitch is 0.01 mm. There are circles of different diameters (1.5 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.15 mm and 0.07 mm) on both sides of the scale.

Using the calibration slide
- Fix the slide on the microscope stage
- Select the lens you want to use for work by rotating the turret head
- Set the camera to maximum resolution image capture mode and then take a photo of the scale
- In the image analysis program, select the calibration mode, mark the maximum visible distance with the mouse, and then enter the obtained value in real units
- Enter the calibration name and check the values ​​again
- If you did everything right, the program remembers the correction factor and will independently convert the values ​​to the desired units in the future
