The optical elements are made of glass with a silicon dioxide anti-reflection coating. Thanks to this, the optical elements perform more efficiently in complete darkness, providing a sharper and more contrasted image. During the day, any object that is three meters or more away can be examined. At night, the range of vision extends to 300 meters. For better visibility, switch on the dimmable LED infrared light. To conserve battery use, turn off the backlight completely. The most detailed image is achieved under the brightest lighting. Please note that the image is displayed in color during the day and in black and white at night.

Built-in image and video recording unit
With the help of the device, you can not only make observations, but also take videos and photos. The image resolution in both cases is 1280x960 pixels. However, if necessary (to leave more free storage space on the memory card), this can be reduced to 640x480 pixels. Thanks to the frame rate of 30 frames per second, videos can be played extremely smoothly. Usually, 24 frames/second is enough, but in the Levenhuk Halo 13x binoculars, we have further increased the quality of the function to make watching the videos extremely enjoyable. Recordings can be conveniently viewed directly from the device's screen. For binoculars max. 32 GB memory cards can be used. Images can be transferred to a computer via a USB cable.

Up to 10 hours of continuous use without changing batteries
The electronic and optical components are housed in an ergonomic, drop-resistant frame with a non-slip surface. The binoculars can thus be comfortably held. When holding the device, the control buttons are located exactly under the fingers. The device is user-friendly, the menu system can be navigated extremely easily. Night vision binoculars run on AA batteries, which are easily available at almost any store. You should also take an extra pack with you so that the device doesn't turn off at the most unfortunate moment. Although there is little chance of this, since one battery pack is enough for 4-10 hours of continuous use. Battery life depends on the intensity of the backlight.
