The Photoscope Levenhuk Ra FT72 ED is an apochromatic refractor for astrophotography. This telescope can be used for observation as well as a camera lens. It can be used to observe space, but the main purpose of a telescope is photography. Due to its ultra-low dispersion optics and efficient light-gathering eyepiece, this telescope provides a high-contrast image with minimal chromatic distortion. The kit also includes an aluminum case that makes transporting and storing the telescope easier.

The main feature of the Levenhuk Ra FT72 ED is a 2" helical focuser. It provides robust, highly accurate focusing and smooth movement without compromise. It provides sharper contours and clearer images than a rack and pinion focuser or even the more advanced Crayford focuser. Compatible with heavy accessories.

The optical tube has a standard 1/4" thread, making it compatible with most modern mounts and tripods. A special adapter is required for SLR camera installation, which is not included in the kit.
