The Ermenrich Seek TV80 thermal camera is a powerful handheld device that provides extended temperature range and smartphone/tablet remote control. Great for professional equipment condition monitoring; to analyze the thermal performance of buildings; for testing insulation in walls, facades, joints and cavities; to diagnose heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; and for testing electrical and plumbing systems for overheating and leakage.

The device's 40 mK sensitivity, 120x90 pixel thermal sensor provides clear and low-noise images. Thanks to the measuring range between -20 °C and +550 °C, it is also suitable for industrial tasks. The heat maps are clearly displayed on the large (3.5") LCD display with a resolution of 640x480 pixels. Thus, analyzes can be carried out in detail on the spot, without transferring the data to a computer. With its 25 Hz update rate, it displays the moving images smoothly.

In addition to the eight basic color palettes, the Ermenrich Seek TV80 model also offers four special alarm palettes for upper/lower temperature limits. There are two operating modes in which the thermal camera highlights the areas whose temperature exceeds the set limit value. In the other two modes, it highlights in color the areas that are within the specified temperature range. In this way, areas with critical temperatures can be determined immediately, and areas with acceptable temperatures can be excluded from further analysis.

The built-in recording unit can also save photos and videos to the camera's internal storage or microSD card. Images can be saved not only in JPG, but also in HIR format (including temperature data). Files can be transferred to a computer and smartphone/tablet via a wired (Type-C USB) connection. Both platforms use the specially designed Thermview Pro software package. It can also be installed on Windows systems (the installation file is available from the "Links and Downloads" section) and Android and iOS devices (the application can be downloaded from the respective app store). Software features: transfer photos and streaming videos; heat map analysis; display mode management; generate and save reports; and data sharing via e-mail and messaging applications.

Thanks to adjustable emissivity settings, the camera provides accurate temperature measurements on materials with different surfaces. The use of the device is facilitated by the automatic shutdown function, as well as the indication of the low battery level, which warns the user that the device needs to be charged. Thanks to these features, the device can be used practically in various conditions for professional tasks. With the 2600 mA h battery, you can work for up to four hours away from the outlet. The operating temperature range between -15 °C and +50 °C allows outdoor use, even in cold weather.
