The Ermenrich EM20 detector measures electric field strength (unit: V/m, range: 1–1999 V/m) and magnetic induction (unit: µT, i.e. microtesla, range: 0.01–99.99 µT) – parameters that help to quickly assess the safety of the environment. Perfect for everyday home inspections and many different situations in companies. The device can be useful for searching for hidden wires, for checking the electromagnetic field strength level of household appliances, for assessing the electromagnetic background radiation of apartments near electrical wires and transformer booths. The device is practical for monitoring electromagnetic fields in manufacturing facilities, near machines and generators, as well as in workplaces for diagnosing compliance with health and safety regulations, etc. The device measures electromagnetic fields with a minimum error of 1 V/m or 0.01 µT. The detector display shows the results in less than 2 seconds, so the measurement can be done quickly.

The Ermenrich EM20 measures electric and magnetic field parameters at the same time with a single button press. If the device does not display a result after the measurement, the radiation strength does not fall within the range that can be measured by the EMF meter. When the value appears on the display, a message is also displayed: "Safe" (safe radiation level) or "Harmful" (dangerous radiation level). As a quick warning for values ​​exceeding the set threshold, the device gives an audio-visual alarm, which is activated when 40 V/m and 0.4 µT are exceeded.

The detector works for at least 20 hours with a fully charged battery. It also has a low charge indicator. The lifetime of the sensor is 2-3 years, depending on the level of use.
