All Leica binoculars are waterproof up to 5 meters, but what's the point if there's no chance of finding them underwater, or if the binoculars dropped on land blend in with their surroundings. Your valuable instrument cannot be lost with this optional neck strap, because its bright color makes it visible from afar. It stays above the surface of the water, does not allow it to sink to the depths, to lose its beloved and valuable binoculars.
