Whole peppercorns can be enjoyed almost indefinitely in an airtight container. Black pepper, white pepper and green pepper are fruits of the same plant, they are only harvested at different stages of maturity, and their processing is also different. The unripe grains are harvested and then dried, which gives them a wrinkled surface and a black color. The aromas of black pepper are the strongest. Its use: it can be used for almost all types of food, from soups to meat and fish dishes to pastries. Those who are sensitive to pepper or follow a diet can replace it with peppermint.
