FIPS 140-3 levels 3 (pending) certified, which includes new developments in NIST for enhanced security and attacks for government and military use. The D500S has data encryption and decryption without trace. Thanks to the hardware XTS-AES 256-bit encryption, it has a durable zinc covering, which is waterproof, dust-resistant, impact and vibration resistant to military standards, filled with fracture-resistant and epoxy resin to protect internal parts from penetrating attacks.
