Life is nothing more than a flash...
Grace Kelly knows what people see - the Sleeping Beauty story. An elegant icon looking back from the front page of magazines. The girl with the white gloves.
However, no one knows the truth except him. No one knows what sacrifices the young California girl had to make in order to defy her family and eventually become the queen of the big screen. No one knows the heartbreakingly painful reasons why he chose the crown over Hollywood. No one knows how lonely it feels to be the princess of a - very real - fairytale land.
The most difficult thing for fans and subjects to understand is that the most envied woman in the world is not necessarily the happiest man in the world. But this is the bitter reality. Seeking love and purpose, Grace finds herself in a labyrinth of romantic and social expectations more tortuous than Monaco's hairpin bends, and must find her own path to self-fulfillment. However, what he risks in the meantime - his love for art, his family, his marriage - he can never get back.
